I'm looking for a book, that I want to buy my daughter, but I'm buggered if I can recall the title.... I read a review of it recently, and it looks good.
The basic outline is that its a tale of some elf character, that is cast out (i think) from his people, and ends up getting involved with a small human child, a boy. Humans are considered weak creatures by the elves....as they have emotions, and family ties etc. At the end of the story, as far as I can remember, he ends up going back to his own people and takes with them the reasons why emotions are good things..
thats all i can remember, and I may have got it a bit @!#$ about tit, but thats basically it....

It's not called 'Good Elf' by any chance?
By all accounts it should be.
