Okay, my writing might not be brilliant, but it's tidy, punctual and says its prayers. Before long I'll be looking to begin my own collection of rejection slips. But what's the deal if you put your stuff on ABC first? Not from a legal pov, but would anyone want to publish stuff that is already out there and available for nothing?
If this is an faq, please point me towards the answer and I'll never darken your forum again.

People have posted their books on here and then gone on to have them published. So long as you delete your work again it is unlikely that many will have taken copies.
Another way to look at it is to note the number of reads you have had and subtract it from your hoped for readership :O)
