…what do you think of the concept of offering cash prizes for things like coming up with a cure for AIDS, eradicating poverty for more than 90% of the human population, etc? & offering these prizes alongside such relatively trivial things as inventing a flying car or mapping the ocean floor?

& furthermore, getting those creative juices working, what other challenges would you like to see an X-Prize being offered for?
