I don't have the answer, sadly. But there's a competition that wants you to write a story of just 42 words about the meaning of life.

I've written a couple of 42 worders now, and they are sentiments, barely distinguishable from that contained in a fortune cookie! Not sure this is necessarily what they are looking for, but hey ho, I'll give it a go...
