Blessing | June 14, 2012 - 23:50

Thanks. Loads of videos!

Parson Thru | June 15, 2012 - 00:13

Does it reach as far up as Brizzle, or is that oop noorth?

Stan | June 15, 2012 - 08:37

Very interesting, thanks Brian. I've forwarded the link to my writer friend in Totnes, who's just gone onto broadband. He's also a publisher, so the site could prove very useful to him.

ScoZen | June 20, 2012 - 20:34

Hello Stan
A late reply but just to say I think your Totnes friend will enjoy the "Ways with Words" festival coming up soon at Dartington.
Regards.

ps re " broadband " I always thought they used the ley-lines that run through the town.

ScoZen | June 20, 2012 - 20:41

Hello there dear Parson.
It does indeed reach Brizzle, I have been there many times.

ps due to revisit your " Terror in the glen"
Just to remind me of what I will face in a few weeks time, now where is my Deet?

ScoZen | June 20, 2012 - 20:45

Hi Blessing

"...Loads of videos!..." a shame not as many as YouTube.
Although I wouldn't have seen "Ashford & Simpson singing.
Regards.

ScoZen | June 20, 2012 - 20:49

Glad to hear that, I hope you passed it to your friends.
Although SW based it does mention other writing info
from all over.
Regards

ps revisited your " Irene's a love story.
Really enjoyed that one, should have had a cherry I think.

marionwozere | June 20, 2012 - 22:35

Thanks :) I love the ley-lines comment about Totnes, have you seen the 'Twinned with Narnia' sign?

Stan | June 20, 2012 - 22:50

Ah, it's become a strange town since my time there, in the '70s. A cross between Glastonbury and Richmond-upon-Thames. Twinned with Narnia indeed!

marionwozere | June 20, 2012 - 22:55

ha ha, yes I've often thought that instead of trekking all the way up to Glastonbury, you could can easily just make do with Totnes market on a Friday afternoon :)

Stan | June 20, 2012 - 23:04

Scrumpy used to be the local oil. Now it's patchouli!

Oddly enough, I fit into what you might call the 'alternative' mould myself. So I should find Totnes congenial. But I suppose I knew it before, and cherish those memories. So now it's like finding a funfair in my own back garden: I want it... just not there!

marionwozere | June 21, 2012 - 09:49

nimbyism?? ;)

Stan | June 21, 2012 - 12:43

Probably! And I have got a back yard, not a back garden! Nimbgism is just too awkward a word...

marionwozere | June 21, 2012 - 16:35

haha :) well if you decorate that backyard with wind chimes and use it to practice your poi/tai chi then that's ok by Totnes terms....

Stan | June 21, 2012 - 16:44

Instead, I decorate it with ties, and use it to practice my wind... :s
