The National Portrait Gallery in London has commissioned some authors to write stories based on their collection. Why not us?
First of all go here and find a picture that appeals to you:

Then just look at the face and write a story that goes with it. You can look up the person concerned on the search engine of your choice or Wikipedia if you so wish or you can just make it up from what you see. Each picture has a short biography of the subject. Make sure you include the link to your picture at the top of your piece.
