This is a collection of poems I have been writing for family and friends.
*Thankful For All That I've Got: was written in honor of my father who is no longer with us. And a baby sister that died just a couple of hours old.

*A Lesson On Living: Once again I have to thank my friend Maddie for this one. She has been an inspiration in my life and am grateful she is in it.
*I Can't Believe: This is for my husband who has gone through so much when my depression was at an all time low. And he stuck by my side without complaint.
*Proud Of My Sons: All I can say is I have a right to be. They are two of the finest young men I know. And yes I am a bit biased where they are concerned.
*I Thank You Fates: This one is also for my husband, I am so very grateful to have him in my life.
*Just Like You: I wrote this one for Allison, who is a 19 year old girl that is handicapped.
*My Family And Me: My family has always been there for me no matter what the problem might be, and I will also be there for them whenever they need me. I have 2 sister, 4 brothers and my mother that are still with us.
*You Are The One: I have one daughter in law. And this is for her. She is a sweetie and we are happy to have her as part of this family.
*Family: A little bit of an autobiography I wanted to include all my family in one poem and this was the result.

*Gods Storm: For anyone who ever feared storms.
*My Friend: This is for Paula. You have become a very good friend of mine, despite a difficult start, I am sorry for the misunderstandings.
*Here's To You Mom: I can only hope that everyone mother is as loving and kind as mine. That is the greatest gift in the world.
*Throw Out Your Faults: I was thinking about myself when I wrote this one. I know that if I could only admit all my faults out loud I would be a better person. But I'm not that brave.
*Depression: Living with depression is never an easy thing to do. Fortunately I have a terrific support system with my family and friends. I thank God that I survived to figure that one out. And apologize for all the grief I caused anyone.
*Itty Bitty Ditty: Those three words were actually stuck in my head. Only way to get them out was to get a pen and see where they went. Interesting to say the least.
*Life With Depression (rewritten from Depression): After a little advice from a friend, I decided to take out unnecessary words and redo the last phrase completely. I left the original on this site so you can compare the two and decide for yourself which you like better.
*What Have You Done To Me: Thanks Maddie.. She really did tell me I was not going out in public with her in the shirt I had on. I have to admit it really was ugly. That was just the start of changes that came about in me after that statement.
*Together Forever: For my husband, he is my heart and my life.
*The Best Kind Of Friend: Once again Maddie has inspired another poem. She is the best friend I've ever had.
