This collection of stories for adults of all ages is about honesty, sadness and joy. Everyone endures, as I realize from many years experience in the Social Services field. I'm retired. I'm a stroke survivor, because of prayers. And I love to write. YESSSSSS! I thank God for giving me a love of writing and much is owed to my precious wife for the past thirty-six years, Esther my love, best friend, and soul mate.

Richard & Esther live in Truro, Nova Scotia. They have four children and five grandchildren.

INTO THE FIRE is about Troy who has no real friends, only an imaginary one, JC. Without him, Troy might not be able to cope with living in the country, since dad took up drinking.
