AGE DREAMER

Walk across foreign lands
Eyes all snowy from the solitude in reign
Remember when
We used to talk hours into the night
Faces lit by dreamy cigarettes

Where has time gone for us to be
So full of pain and hypocrisy
all i can remember
Is the curve of your lazy smile

The overbearing branches of your silence
Hang over and drown me in their might
All I can remember
Is the beauty of your angel presence

Time and time again I know
we will get back together again
But the acid wounds of starless sadness...
Bring me down to earth my friend

I fled to the wild
and burnt all the mail you sent
I lost your faith
In your eyes, one can't repent

Forget what I said
Our rythm is the detroit blues

Thanks for your support
I have difficulties maintaining a steady writing schedule, what with inspiration being a seemingly random process.. Is there anything I can do to get inspired more often? As in watching movies, reading books, listening to the radio? Is it possible to control one's creative process?

You can't ever do that Alexis. When it comes you have to ride with it.

Why would you want to 'control' creativity?

alexislebaroudeur | June 22, 2012 - 23:50

It's more.. summoning inspiration
I guess everyone has that problem hahah

Summoning inspiration I suppose is the whole thing. It's the dream- unobtainable ease that would give riches without the pain. Yet somehow if it happened maybe the final product would be the less for it?
