You rest upon your soft un-wrestled bed,
to lift my newly opened senses
with swirls that make me whole.
For you resonate gentle waves of cerise;
Entwined with the subtle hint of rose.
And here you so lightly nearly float
Surrounded by the scent of jasmine,
Mixed with heavy candle-chord chime.
That with love's sweet, tender kiss,
Bit by bit,leaves sacredly sublime…
With deep reverence,I steadily inhale you,
to succumb to your succulent cinnamon tones;
stirring the slants that rest within my soul.
They leave a smile as I slowly recline my head
by degrees upon your petal peeled pillowed rest:
To sadly, and with deep reluctance, exhale you.
As a naked shard... a single pointed thought
then fills with me deep burning need.
Within swirling reams of rich crimson silk;
I feel our souls so twist, blend and mesh.
within the rhythmic sweated beating drums;
I feel you stare deep into my open heart;
and sense our entwined delicate thunder.
But I pace myself and hold back,within,
the slow rhythm of this sacred dance.
Then I shudder here so wonderfully
Upon dawn's risen butterfly wings;
with the sacred sighs of this unity,
listening to the tender parted peals
of secret bells that soon will ring,
To sing with such a joyful union
Upon this wondrous sacred morning.
