I have often wondered what it would be like
To be a lesbian or do they say dyke?
All the advantages of being a man
Getting off with girls when you can
And drooling over gorgeous gals
Without the embarrassing genitals

Really, this is just too much.

Regarding your e-mail:
"What exactly is your problem?
If your going to leave a comment make your meaning clear."
My problem is this:
I find this poem offensive, yes. Not as offensive perhaps as 'they'- as you so delightfully put it - might. I admit, when I was 13 years old, I might have found it outrageously funny. Thankfully, I am no longer 13.
Surprisingly, apart from the thunderingly clumsy rhyming of 'genitals' with 'gals', this is one of your better efforts technically.
You might protest your right to free speech and I would defend it. However, your poem contains no hint of originality and I failed to detect any kind of irony to save it from being the worst kind of homophobic gibe.
Clear enough for you?
