So, I'm back. Had lots to think about. Like my personal assessment of my intense induction on this site. What do I intend to do over coming months?

Well, I have one novella on the go and one novelette and a compilation to put together. I am happy with my chosen niche/genre, can pretty much adapt to diverse scenarios. Part of the stretching that goes on at the site so that's also thanks to my "panel" on here.

I have agreed to read at the next ABC meeting, so there's obviously enough writing for me to be getting on with over the immediate next 3 months.

Having met a couple of you personally and online, I feel a member of this writing community, though in a very different way from my other longstanding group. I take different things from each relationship.

I've come to the conclusion that writers can be an odd bunch and I also put my hand up to that.

Finding my balance between family, friends, writing and other parts of my existence is important and I am still working on that.

Started this little journal to help me keep focus. Being off this page for a few weeks has brought me back to a different place. The gap has had an impact, apart from forgetting which pieces I bookmarked to read (forgive please), I hope I am positively better for it. Sometimes you just need to timeout for yourself.
