DAYDREAMER

No likes yet ♦

I want to be in god's
places of nature
where the light
and warmth so bright

Angel's with smiling faces
butterflies magnificent
tinted wings

I could be called the
painted lady
nocturnal of the night

The waning full moon watching over me
peeping
through the trees

Bees humming a tune
of let there be love
and peace in the world

Rabbits with snow on
their twitching noses
nightinggales singing
all chirping away

Children with bright colour
coats and hats
with skipping ropes
jingle my name

Waterfalls with
tinkling rushing sounds

Sunsets of red
and orange hues
gently emerging down

Low behind the houses
at a blink of an eye
what a lovely sight

I would quickly
take a seat
pick up my pen
start writing again

Of the beauty and things
I have seen
and people I meet

There are some lovely images in this poem Julie. I particularly like the last part.

There are a couple of typos:
angels, faces, rabbits, coats, hats and sunsets. None of these need apostrophes.

happy new year!
