I TRY

Hi Julie,
I have made a fool of myself so many times, since
writing on ABC Tales, so don't worry. I find all
the punctuations baffeling aswell. Sometimes when
I am writing, I get so carried away, I even spell
words wrong, even though I read it three times back
over, I still read it wrong.
I think an artist of any description should be able
to free write, the way they feel comfortable, just
like painting scribbles that sell for thousands of
pounds, What is right for one, is not always right
for another.
I find it very hard to critisize other peoples work,
mainly because I am not qualified.

Julie I think your poems are truly among the most colourful and imaginative on here and I always enjoy reading them. I love the story of the cherry brooch!

I find it hard to criticise other people's work too, but I know how useful it can be, as I'm always grateful if someone tells me when something I've written doesn't work for them - it's the best way of learning how to get better.

It's always easier to spot someone else's mistakes too. I can read through my things a million times and miss something really basic.

This is a wonderful poem, Julie! And I'm so glad myself and ABC had helped you :) You know I bought a cherry keyring to put on my schoolbag because of ABCtales so it's lovely to hear someone else has done something similar ;)

Cor,thankyou,so much to me some and most damn,good
other's,when I read,I feel absolutely are true,but not always.Never been abroad,so I can't answer on lovely one of MistakenMagic's. New author's so good and just started. I feel inadequte,my personality anything is if can grasp it try,if I can't confuse.I fully understand all that help me,plus I am getting on.Life,I have been to the bottom of the sea,in everything and back.So all this bran new to me.I stand corrected,and so much help.But now can do,and have many things done,taken many years, but again only one teacher,that'sme,sing,dance,words,sentences,poems,pictures,homeless
writing group all did,all kinds of groups
or whatever joined.I know it is away of learning and I appreciate all.Also mine is re-tired,watches t.v.
I am trying to concentrate, hit wrong button keys.
Like knitting patterns,sums only basic,can I do,or leave it.
I love all the help,but to many in one go,I have had it,to re-correct.I can take criticism course, but my
head goes,if can't grasp something,at school receipes,were recipes I would say.And Bunny laid an egg, instead of Bunny laid dead.And as things happened in life,all this is expanding me,when I can do.I couldn,t do square feet and inches? And my past
one couldn't do anything at all? Nothing?

A cherry brooch, I need to get myself one of those ;)
I really used to struggle with puncuation, line breaks in particular, ABC tales really helped. I just kept trying and had the support of many really nice and talented poets on here, like Magic :) You are trying hard, its evident in all of your recent poems. To me your poetry is always a pleasure to read, because it is so honest and imaginative.

but some of you new ones,so good
makes me feel a bit inadequate.
I can take comment,and criticism.
Not good at giving it,so look for contents
and reply on that.Some are so damn good I
think are real,then I find there not.

cos,he wanted his computer quickly,I could ring his
neck.Yes,practice and interacting and reading great.

and in life,awful things happen,one is lucky one can
speak,my words used come out back to front if agitated etc; made it worse hubby and daught; laugh.
couldn't understand,it's when I know what I mean and
through all adversity agitated and the past, they are clever cloga, all this helps me so much.Interacting,using the mind,and expanding it.

Thankyou so much for all your kind help,
and your comforting reply, that is what I
can connect with is the empathy. I could put words
on here, nobody would understand, unless medically trained not going to. Be too many Q asked. Have to be careful.

It is amazing the different Titles, and stories poems
and subjects. Always something different, happy sad
knowledgeable. Quirky. Should I send other version

Thankyou so much Tony.Hope all is going well for you. I wasn't allowed any stress of any kind bring pain, then 1000 times worse. But I am free. I looked in dictionary, after rushed home not, there until
a kind of counselling was told 2 words. After 16 years of nothing could do. I put to much on here sometimes now. Do you think where have cherry! mugs can be put on. But richly blessed by god healing place. Don't I go on. Now I say about my poems but not a poet. I cannot, put all my feelings on, now I
have them.

As our Editor tcook tony said, to try, great help from all, mix in and listen watch interact other's
mine are mostly therapy, poem's now, like MistakenMagic. Love to make them happy, interesting
knowledgeable, when life is so sad, plus world and for people.

Has been so helpful, and you and like some listed in
this poem. I hated to comment back never done, so I
make it into, like I am an agony aunt. But if suggestions on punctuations, take on board will try,
but can't take to much. It is in giving we receive. Although I still can't go

See when I had to cook for four, here each one didn't like something, peas,or roast potatoes,skin on the custard.etc; my poor head spin,so

going called "Cherry B" came no where,but two did
buy names of Poet and Poetry something well well I didn't do, did win and quite a few wod Magic? in I have heard of a Cherry! user I think it's
a truck of some kind or lorry, goes around like a crane,do you know what it is for? Quite often, names horses are anmes and Title of poems I have done,or on here1' and quite a few with Magic! word's in Win.
