I was sitting having lunch
in "Gossips"
When three came and sat
at the table out-side
The door was open wide
I jumped up and left my
scrambled eggs on toast
went and spoke to the young man
and re-marked on great quiff
in his hair
I asked his name
He said Matt:short for Matthew
His black hair in a quiff
and slick back sides
plus a thin boot lace tie
His black trousers tight
and blue suede shoes on
With signatures and songs on
I felt like singing the blues
or the rock n'roll waltz
I thought it was Elvis at first
sitting in the chair
What! a surprise
One earring in his ear
This takes me back
to the rock n'roll days
Are you musical
"yes a guitar he plays
Not one with him that day

Wish I had my camera
by my side
To take a quick photo

I told him if he agreed

They came in and paid the bill
As passed by and his girl,
anyone can join in the fun
Post and read all the poems done
He left with a big smile
like a cheshire cat
and I thanked him
for his time and chat!
I don't know where
they came from
Or where they went
But it was so nice
I enjoyed
Every minute I spent
My 1st was better
but pressed submit

Hi! If you get trhe time,to read
my 1st (IP) now slightly changed
the title,added "Sands Of Time".
I had it jumbled as finished it once
and nice comment from MistakenMagic.
It was out proportion then I put more
about my Pop died etc;then back to skills etc;
and Editor said could have good makings but jumbled mess,be well worth doing again and again,so tried.
But I asked,if it's better,I think away day, so.
One has commented the best better to understand.But this now has,the beginning,middle,and ending.So alL
can comment.Mine went for Mayor's arrival of Bowls.
Then onto play Snooker practice,you know what I thinking.Bored.Out.So I am out.They may fly to-morrow quick call.
