OH! Rolling river that flows
from the streams
and shooting stars to dream
The rain beating down
on the window pane
Yes!
Get up
and go out and about again
Watch the trees
wave in and out
in the breeze
Take oen's hand
when they atre low
or help someone acroos
the road
Laugh!
At the child
chattering going along
fill your heart
with a song
Sit and say a prayer
for one in need
maybe share
a cup of tea
Breath in the air
from the sea
Hotels
With flowered scents
wafting in the breeze
The hoot of a train
hear the church bells toll
a brisk walk
or just a stroll
See the beauty of life
blossoms everywhere
Love birds
kissing
without a care
The fountains
sparkling springs
Cat's washing
themselves
in the glorious sun
Little man that mumbles
as he raises his hat
hloding onto his paper
and his walking stick
now re-done as someone noticed
kindly I am pleased
was all in capitals
as a beginner then.

This is a beautiful poem which I completely overlooked before.
"Oh! Rolling river the flows from the streams
and shooting stars to dream..."
"And hotels with flowers' scents, wafts in the breeze
The hoot of the trains, or hear a bell toll..."
These are especially lovely lines.

OR BREATHE THE AIR IN FROM THE SEA
Why is all in capitals? I've had similar problems with my x-cellphone the battle-scarred old warrior. Necessity is the.mother.of.invention.
FILL YOUR HEART WITH A SONG
There's a song in my heart the singing never stops!

Yes I like oldies too. Usually got a few going the same time at the moment it’s “Lili Marlene” with “We are marching to Pretoria” in the background.

Anne Shelton? Name means nothing me. Know she does a good strong Lili Marlene that's about it. Shadow is so beautiful shining coat green-eyes everywhere you know the feeling.
