Underneath the arches
by the Karlovy Bridge-
next to the galleries
and bijouterie shops,
a man tips a hat with a broken brim.
Near the Bridge Tower
on the Mala Strana side,
among all the churches
and von Wallenstein's palace,
a woman tips a wink to a lonely man.
Up on the bridge
where the statues of the saints
watch over traffic
in the twilight time,
a tourist looks in wonder at a bridge made of eggs.

Beautiful bridge... nice poem (or the other way round, if you like ;)

Footnote:
A couple of years ago, it was proven that the mortar of the Karlovy Bridge contained eggs. The tour guides had been repeating this as legend for years, I like the idea of a bridge made with eggs.

Cracking idea! I might have too scramble out there and poach a few photos - and I won't get fried this time of year either.
