Beware of the White Panda

He travelled from his homelands for love fortune and fame,
He was greeted with strange looks no one recognized his name
He stood differently and children laughed at his big nose,
Pointed at him and even stepped on his toes

He longed for his homeland dwelling on the past
And grew bitter all attempts to change wouldn’t last
He studied foreign tongues even adopted their manner
But they laughed at his face
And called him the white panda

No matter how hard he tried to be just like them
His eyes remained green and he still had white skin
He decided to accept all difference and teach
But the big white panda was always out of reach
