from the ABC set Walled Garden

If I close sight, let the run of my tongue
excavate dimpled braille of a peach stone,
flesh is soon forgotten in another wonder.

Trial and error may reveal hidden glyph,
would I con its meaning, let the miner speak
a tale of patterns, known to fruitflies;
how some memories persist.

you have a great eye for detail "dimpled braille of a peach stone", a very sensual poem to read.

Yes I liked the braille image and the idea of hidden meanings in something so mundane that we can only guess at.

Hello elf.
At last catching up on some of your work.
I liked this little piece.
Ahh, bliss eating fruit with eyes closed, dreaming.
ps
Thanks for the Drosophila tip. I now know what's wrong with me.
