TEENAGE DRAMAS

No likes yet ♦

I put on my make up
I pull up my jeans
I run out of time
you know what this means

I run for the bus
I jump in my car
I am late again
I am not very far

I pass my friends
I'm walking down the hall
late for detention
I want to go to the mall

An hours past
I'm home from school
mums gone mad
dad's gift is cool

grounded for life
party tonight
sneaking out
I will do something not right

yesterday was mad
I made a big mistake
that girl was sexy
sex down by the lake

I took her number
I called him last night
She told me something shocking
It ended in a fight

I shouted and moaned
How could I be so dumb
she forgot to take it
My boobs feel numb

2 years later
our son has a brother
a father a husband
a wife and a mother

life is good
a perfect home
my job is going well
I dont feel alone

I got my promotion
he is doing so well
£2,000 per month
were sorted for now.

I love the way you have interlaced 'him' and 'her' in this poem. Great stuff.
