This is the generation
that tried to do too much

Lived life to the full
but didn't have time to enjoy

Mastered efficiency
but the means became the end

Rushed everything
and didn't get anything right

Enjoy the legacy!

Parsons, this could be easily read and then put aside. However, I think that it's so beautifully written and the stream of consciousness so sharp that it should be savoured and ingested and thought about and well, simply revelled in. Sorry if I'm not making much sense.

A short poem, in short - damn fine.
