Madame Maserati takes her
usual seat by the river,
at the foot of the red corporate canyon.
She lights her usual cigarette,
sends her usual text
to her usual lover,
draws a number of times
on her usual brand,
then heads to her office
in the cliff wall as usual.
Unusually, I make a note of it.

When you say unusually at the end, do you mean something like pointlessly?

I'm toying with an elegy for the 2-stroke petrol engine next. Nothing aesthetic (on the passing of noise & blue smoke), more from the perspective of engineering efficiency. ;-)

Message from obscurity: I only write them, I don't rate them. This was very much a throwaway on something that I saw (yes, she's real). We can only put our stuff out there, then it's up to somebody else.
