Love is silent but is eloquent during expression with bliss of perfection.
Birds exhibit all these with great passion.
They also express their love in many a way,
On the ground in the water and in the sky
Pigeons generally used to carry the valentine days’ card to the beloved in earlier days.
Birds are closest to love from among all creatures and keep the love ablaze.
Priest Valentine from prison fell in love with jailor’s daughter,
Perhaps a bird carried this letter but was caught by the cruel jailer.
Valentine was sentenced to premature death,
Hence this day is observed to commemorate his contribution to love and the love being the cause of his last breath.
As the birds start their play of love from mid February,
Valentine’s day coincides the death of the priest and the acts of the love’s perfect votary.
