Out For Blood 16

from the ABC set OFB

Continued from OFB 14

‘C’mon Darcy you know you fucking want it.’ saliva and blood was now dripping from Paul’s mouth.

She looked to her left and on seeing the large crystal ashtray she picked it up and swung it from the carpet to Pauls’ head. Paul stopped immediately but was still sitting on her; Darcy did it again and this time she heard a definite crack. He fell from her landing at the side of the sofa, the right side of his head was bashed in and thick dark blood oozed out onto the white carpet.

Darcy managed to stand and pull up her jeans but she shook so much she couldn’t fasten them; picking up the phone she decided to call the police, but before she had finished dialling 911 Paul ripped the phone wire from the wall. He was still on the floor and bleeding heavily.
Darcy looked down at him and crouching with her face close to his she spat in his eye then screamed. ‘You fucking bastard.’ and then kicked him hard in his groin.

Darcy put her coat on and didn’t bother to look back at Paul as she left the house, she thought about little Christopher asleep upstairs, and how well they suited each other. Darcy got into her car and decided he was not going to get away with what he had done; she was going to the police and have him arrested. However, she didn’t notice the blue Ford parked directly across the street.

She left the house and drove down Cold Harbour road and under I 295 into Richmond. The police station is on East Williamsburg road, about fifteen-minutes away. She was going to go in there and report the scumbag. She turned left onto East Nine Mile road and then right onto Naglee Avenue.

Half way down Naglee a car emerged from East Union Street and caught her rear right side and sent her spinning off the road. Her car came to a stop facing back towards East Nine Mile road. That was the last fucking straw, she had been terrorised by a five-year-old, almost raped by his father and now this. She was in a furious mood; she was going to let this blind fucker have it all.

She got out and started towards the blue Ford, at the same time two tall and very thin men got out of it, the passenger waited whilst the driver walked toward Darcy.

‘Hey lady I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you.’ he drawled getting closer.
‘That’s because you’re a blind fucker who shouldn’t even be on the fucking road.’ she yelled back.
‘Feisty little cunt this one.’ he thought smiling.

Just then a police patrol car rolled up parallel to Darcys’ car and two police officers climbed out.
‘Some kinda problem here?’ said a black police officer.

The passenger of the blue Ford slid back inside, the driver stopped in his tracks with Darcy still heading for him. The second police officer was white; he looked at the damage to Darcys’ car and was making his way over to the blue car. The black officer rushed to put himself between Darcy and the driver just as they met.

The tall thin driver then wrapped his arm around the officers’ neck and squeezed, reaching down the he took the officers’ gun and aiming at the white officer fired one shot into his back. Darcy was in total shock; she turned and ran past her car as fast as she could. The black officer was still struggling in the drivers grip when the gun was raised to his head and another shot was fired covering the drivers’ face in blood.

He dropped the officer on the ground and took aim, and again fired one more shot hitting Darcy in the back of her head. She fell to the sidewalk and slid for a yard or two until her momentum ceased.

Her face from the bridge of her nose down was gone.
The driver wiped the officers’ blood from his face with the back of his hand and licked feverishly at it, savouring the flavour. ‘I’m not that keen on fuckin’ redheads’ anyway.’ he said, then got back into the blue Ford. ‘it’s time we headed back.’ he said to his passenger.

I've finally caught up on this story. I have enjoyed it very much so far. Wonderfully imaginative...
