Lena cleared away, while Addie changed into his
Pilots Uniform. It had a metallic lustre to it,
and was made of a special material, that would
withstand any temperatures, it also reacted with
his body temperature, so that he would not be too
hot, or too cold. The material also had an antibacterial layer inside, so that he would not
need to shower.
He kissed Lena and said his goodbyes. "Now you won't forget to watch me leave, on the monitor,
will you Luke?"
"You bet I won't dad!"
As Addie left, Lena switched the monitor on. The
four Crystal Ships, stood on their own Landing Pads.
*************
Addie made his way to the entry doors, with the
other guys, that were taking the trip too.
A buzzer went off, the doors opened and they walked
along a tunnel to their Ships.
Once inside, each person went to their post. Inside
the Ship, there were lights, monitors and special
scanning machines, for reprogramming the victims.
At the controls were the pilots, there were two for
each Ship. Addie was an engineer, but also an Officer.
The Navigator watched his screen, calculation of
time of arrival on Earth...was twelve hours, from
lift off.
**************
There was a silence, as Lena and Luke waited and
watched.
First an invisible barrier surrounded the Ship,
apart from at the top, in the centre. It was like
they were protected in a bubble.
Then a beam of light came from the roof of the Ship, almost like the beam from a torch light.
The Crystal Ships, then began to lift off the ground, they were being drawn up, into the beam of
light.
All of a sudden the beams of light went out...and
took the Ships with them. The journey had begun.
To be continued ............

This is very interesting. I am looking forward to read how they manage with the Chosen ones- what and how they sort out their conflicts??? I will have to wait. This has taken a good turn. Just shows that we earthlings just cannot get things together on our own, can we? Wars and conflicts- oh dear

Oh, wow, Jenny, you have thought about this new direction your journey has taken very thoroughly, it is plain to see. No detail do you leave to chance, making it even more interesting to read. I'd be hopeless at trying to write something like this, and I really do take my hat off to you. As for Pia's comment, I agree, wholeheartedly.
Tina;-)

Love that teaser - we have lift off! And judging by the time you posted this yesterday - 4.56pm - they are already here, unless of course they stopped off at an inter-galactic service station for a coffee. I can't wait for the next action on earth to begin.

Thankyou so much Pia for your great comment, glad you
enjoyed. Yes I think you're right about us needing
help, but then again as Addie said, for every bad
person that comes along, there will always be a new
one to take their place, it just seems to be a fact
of life.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the story.
Jenny.

Hi Tina,
that is such a nice thing to say about my plot in
the story. I bet you could write something like this,
if you really put your mind to it, you seem to have
a great imagination, like me. I sometimes think my
imagination is where I live half the time.
Anyway I'm really inspired by your words and really
glad that you enjoyed this Chapter.
Thankyou for reading and commenting.
Jenny.
