MOONLIGHTING
The night opens before her
like a pageless book
each shadow becoming a word
and each word describing something
there are no words for
She is hiding in moon shadows and
the eloquence of each movement
casts ripples in the air like fireworks
and the breath of the wind is
cool as spring water
and soft as wet clay
against her pale
translucent skin

Oooh I like this.
I was going to say I love the last five lines of the second stanza and it's true, I do. But then I re-read the first stanza and blow me down I'm spoilt for choice. Then there's 'She is hiding...casts ripples in the air like fireworks'
So now that I can't decide which line I like best I'll just have to say...loved it all!
