Summer Days

Summer days sing with light delight
The sunshine boys and girls take flight
Bedecked in bare legs and arms
They dance away their charmless charms

Raw juices storm beneath their skin
Unfettered expression of lust within
Make love without love and pain begins
For them free spirit is no sin

But how I love the freedom shown
The gay abandon of mores unknown
Life is sweet music in windless sky
Yet among the flowers their corpses lie
