Into The Light

Never give up.
There is always hope.
If you look ahead
You will see that there is a light
At the end of the tunnel.
It is not your turn yet,
To reach that light.

No matter how sad
Or cold you get,
Never let go.
Someone will always be there,
To cushion the fall.
Whether or not you realize it yet,
Somewhere out there,
There is a person waiting for you.

And once you’re old and wrinkled
You’ll be glad you held on.
Then, once again, you will see that light.
But this time, it’s closer.
And now you know that it is your time to part.
You’ll breathe your final breath,
And walk away grinning,
Into the light.
