Yes you are quite right but the rest of the year it is about love too. But I agree- it's not about all the presents and overdoing each other but I do like a beautiful christmas tree with lots of decorations!

Oh, I agree with you completely, pia and I wasn't trying to suggest, in my lyrics, that Christmas was the only time for love. It is just that, during this time of economic hardship for so many people, it wouldn't feel right to write materialistic Christmas songs.
Also, there are quite a few wealthy Christians, particularly in America, who think that Jesus would approve of their conspicuous consumption inspite of him saying 'Money is the root of all evil'.
