Whirling, like a rose in a tornado;
struck by the bright lightning of love;
my heart's a hundred rumbling thunderstorms;
my body, a tree in the high winds of passion
but I know your kiss will come soon like the sun
and those whirling winds within me will subside
and I’ll lie beside you like peaceful Summer morn
filled with flowers and gentle singing of the birds.

Lovely. 'My hearts a hundred rumbling thunderstorms.'
Enjoyed having my coffee with you this morning.

I love the idea of a rose caught in the vortex of a tornado and not being damaged.
This is beautiful.
