1st Verse:
When the sun comes up,
Streaming through my window pane
And I see your face again
I know, I know, I know, I know
That my life is good
‘cause I’ve got you as my friend;
Hope our friendship never ends
It’s so, it’s so, it’s so, it’s so
Chorus:
Wonderful to be with you
Now, that’s what I call happiness
All the joy that you give to
Me in each tender kiss and caress.
When our lips come together
My heart swoops and soars just like a dove;
It’s as light as a feather
Baby, now, that is what I call love.
2nd Verse:
When I’m coming home
And I finally see your face
Feels like I’ve just won a race
That glow, that glow, that glow, that glow
That you fill me with
It makes life a joy to live;
You might say it’s addictive
It’s so, it’s so, it’s so, it’s so
Chorus:
Wonderful to be with you
Now, that’s what I call happiness
All the joy that you give to
Me in each tender kiss and caress.
When our lips come together
My heart swoops and soars just like a dove;
It’s as light as a feather
Baby, now, that is what I call love.
Bridge:
What else can I call that feeling;
When my heart goes through the ceiling
And my head starts it’s cartwheeling,
Love must be what it’s revealing.
And how else can I best express
How much I must feel your caress
That tug towards your tenderness
That’s made my heart into a mess
It’s so
Yes it’s so
Yes it’s so
Yes it’s so
Chorus:
Wonderful to be with you
Now, that’s what I call happiness
All the joy that you give to
Me in each tender kiss and caress.
When our lips come together
My heart swoops and soars just like a dove;
It’s as light as a feather
Baby, now, that is what I call love.

Thankyou, Highhat. Right now its just mental music; Heavy Mental music performed by Mentallica or one of the other imaginary bands who perform inside the venue of my head. If you want to add a tune, please feel free.

I think that, even in poetry, it is considered alright to steal (allude to, make reference to) bits and pieces and is not considered plagiarism; it's the whole that counts.
However, I don't know which song you are referring to, so if I have used a line from another song I didn't do it deliberately unless you mean the words
"come together" which I know are the title/chorus of a Beatles song.
