Patsy, the famous flying pig. (IP)

from the ABC set Children's Poems

“It’s oinkredible!”, they cry;
all the gasping folks below.
They’ve seen many creatures fly
but never a flying sow.

With her curly tail coiled tight
and her trotters stretched right out,
Patsy pig springs into flight,
brushing clouds against her snout.

Some mistake her for a blimp
because of her portly frame;
others, when they catch a glimpse,
swear a flying saucer came.

But most that see Patsy soar
know that aeronautic boar;
the pig that gazed up from her sty
and dared to dream a pig could fly.

Made my think of Pink Floyd's album about a pig that can fly- can't remember what it is called. This is a sweet little ditty well-wisher- thanks for the enjoyment

Thank you, Pia.

The only Pink Floyd Albums I know are The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon, I'm afraid. This is a bit like a cross between Babe and Dumbo,I suppose, but the IP (Flying through the air) just suggested to me, as Julie said,that expression "...and pigs will fly".
