Now is the time when red roses bloom
and the song of suckling swallows fills the air.
Now, the world is fertile, painted and perfumed
and wearing eglantine in tangled hair.
Now, the brightning touch of sunlight enters all
and joyful rainbows born, from raindrops, burst.
Now, like bridal tears of joy, bright shining showers fall
and life returns like a love reimbursed.
Now, if our hearts would only look and listen,
we would feel nature plant kisses on our face.
Now is the time to be loving and kissing
and take all of sweet life in our embrace.

Beautifully crafted and elevates the spirit. I really like the symmetry framing this wonderfully optimistic poem. A little observation if I may? Go the 'whole hog' and delete the first word "For" of the penultimate line, final stanza. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Scratch. I've taken your advice and removed the word 'For'.
Glad you liked it.

I totally agree with scratch, this is wonderfully
crafted. You also introduced me to a new word, which I had to look up:-
'eglantine' in tangled hair. Beautiful as usual

Thankyou for sharing.
