It is a "telling portrait" of the evils of the fashion industry... supposedly. Although really it's just a bit of a Hollywoodised reverse-American-Dream-type-movie starring Anne Hathaway (who is quite pretty) and the aforementioned Merrrryl Strrrrreep (who is admittedly brilliant).
