Now we have a Lily Maelle Frazer Cook to add to the grandchild list (she's our second!)

She was born in Thonon Hospital by the shores of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman if you are French) at 4.30 this morning. Our son Frankie and his lovely partner Julie are the parents.

They set off for the hospital from their mountain eerie at 2.30 am in the midst of a snowstorm and the baby was born at 4.30 weighing in at 8lbs 7 oz.

Thankyou all - the frustration is in not being able to get out there straight away to say 'hello'. Still - we'll be over in a couple of weeks and I dare say she won't notice.
