8 months after the election.

May 6th of last year's gone
but the problems still remain.
We see no signs of better things,
a few would keep us sane.

Our leaders moan about expenses,
while local councils suffer cuts.
The council bosses have huge rises,
surely now the world's gone nuts!

The none-jobs seem to multiply,
and consultants make a fortune.
The doctors need a good accountant,
the patients sing a different tune.

The benefits so liberally given
don't fall in English purses.
You work so hard to pay your way,
no glory, lots of curses.

The UNITED states of Europe then
with Human Rights enshrined,
can't let our leaders lead us now,
so get up, speak your mind!!

So blue and pink be firm,
the future's there for making.
Don't let the forces from elsewhere
disturb the steps you're taking.
