Sujita Hitting Me In The Face

In the Terai classroom,
It was too much for the little girl.
Dragged along her eyes were wide;
Taken by surprise.
When she cried,

I picked her up and pushed the others aside
and smiled.
It's thik chha, thik chha.

Her puppy fat hands stayed at her Mongol eyes
And so in jest I gently pinched her nose.
She moved her head,
Then hit me in the face.

Actually it quite hurt.
