You are the stars in my sky
The moon in my sunrise
I’m just the passer-by
The shadow in your eyes

I look at your lonely face
And I want to make you mine
Then I look at you again
But I know that there’s no time

You are the ebony eyes
The one who stands alone
You are the light in my skies
The lonely wanderer’s home

You are the end of my life
The start of something fine
You are the soul of my life
I’m going to get to you sometime, but oh....
