It was a turbulent night
that bore away her soul
You wouldn't expect anything else
Her ravaged body left to rest
beneath Yule's shroud
Vigil-keepers made bereft
Her requiem the moaning wind
where hares chase the moon
The wheel turns
And all it leaves behind
are the stories
