All I've Every Wanted

All I wanted was, for you to love me. You didn’t . I guess the reason is I didn’t ask you to get me stars unlike her. All I ever wanted was to be somebody to you. I guess that wasn’t enough. I guess I should’ve asked you to name the moon after me, with your dad’s money. I guess I was dumb enough. I guess I should’ve bankrupted you, like she did, because at least you loved her till the end.  And right now, I stand in front of you with fire and broken pieces, where my heart should be. I thought people died when they had fire or broken pieces instead of a heart, but not me. And right now I’m staring into your eyes, stronger than ever. The broken pieces and fire have made me stronger and now that you finally realize, it’s too late.
