The Lout

Arnold Sidebottom was a bit of a lout.
A face like a dog, with a pig's snout.
Long arms and body stout.
He couldn't walk down the street without giving a shout.
Every rule and law he would flout.
When he went to the pub; everyone else came out.
If you said owt to him, he'd give you a clout,
And if you tried to ignore him, he'd knock you clean out.
When the police tried to arrest him, they suffered a rout.
But he came to a sticky end, I've no doubt.
