Liberal Disaster, electoral failure,

They were so hoping, a woman would actually win in the macho States,

But no chance, they prefer the bragging male,

the one who tells his own stories,

who weaves a tale of fantastical futures,

where America’s Greatness is once again restored.

But when was America’s Highest point?

Was it when the tea bags were dumped into the Boston Harbour,

Stolen no doubt from under the noses of the British tax man!

And the Atlantic Ocean was turned into a giant pot of tea.

Was it when the first cup of coffee was drunk in the Oval office in preference to the drink prescribed by their erstwhile colonial masters?

Was it when Lewis and Clark arrived on the West Coast, and Napoleon sold the Indian’s land to the Federal States, clinching their demise in advance!

They weren’t always United;

Indeed the only thing that ever really united them was their greed for Indian land, and their love of money.

So where was the greatness?

Not much to be seen as Ethnic cleansing of the Indians became the order of the day.

Go West Young Man, like ants they hewed down most of the trees,

Only the sequoias survived,

And headed west across the plains to the land of milk and honey; California,

Where the girls are pretty and the …..?

I didn’t know that Manifest Destiny meant that America was fated to give in gullibly to the false promises of a crazed baby boomer prophet of greed meets conservatism. Mind you he probably wasn’t the first in America’s long (Short?) history of explosive growth and takeover.
