The opening lines reminded me a bit too much of Dylan Thomas, but once past that it was a really well written piece - nice images. One thing, when you mentioned "the state of the world," it almost seemed like an out-of-place image - everything else being sort of abstract, or only hinted at, and then this which seemed really concrete... But I really enjoyed this one, Yutka. foster.
