ABCtales in The Big Issue
Hello folks.
Those of you who live in the southern half of the country will able to find an article by ABCtales CEO Mr Tony Cook in this weeks issue of The Big Issue, on sale from today.
It's an interesting read, and certainly reveals a side of Tony that I think will be unfamiliar to most of you, and possibly even himself.
It also tells some stories about the birth of ABCtales that I for one hadn't heard before, and believe me, I've heard a lot.

Duly bought and read. Congratulations, it's a big article and hopefully will bring lots of new members (and writing) to the site.
I notcie that the ABCtales logo appears on page 42, in the Street Llights section. Those aren't stories by ABCtalers though, are they? Or are they?

The girl outside Waitrose wasn't there today (I work in a terribly nice bit of oxfordshire that has to import it's homeless people in on a day to day basis).

It should be in every edition apart from the Big Issue in the North (which goes out in the North West and is run by a different organisation).
I must warn you that the article in there does not reflect either me or my writing. It is a John Bird concoction and I am not best pleased at the light in which I am portrayed. However, if it produces a substantial increase in membership then all well and good and I welcome new members keenly. Just be aware that I do not regard myself as 'the storyteller' and I have never had a Polish cleaner.

I haven't got hold of a copy yet but will do. Abc Tales has been on the streetlights page for years, that's how I for one got the address. I'd been told about abctales as a booklet distributed on the underground years before while in the big house, but in recent years clocked the address in the B.I.

Come on, chaps - if Mr Bird's in a flap there's no sense in egging him on. Who rattled your cage? Even if abc has become an albatross round his neck I'm not about to stick my beak in. Feathering your own nest is nothing to crow about.

Don't count your chickens, Tim - I don't mean to clip your wings, but this bird has flown, and the eagle-eyed among us have noticed vultures like him hawking their wares round here once too often. It's time he swallowed his pride, sheathed his talons and ducked out, sans swansong, because frankly, his goose is cooked and he's behaving like a tit.
