I think we all understand the frustration of working with "Word as with any Microsoft Office package. They try to encompass so many applications such that the set-up has become somewhat complex.

Your "A Bit of Fun lightly describes the hassles of "auto correction. My personal dislike being the arrogant "Paper Clip

Never the less, I enjoyed reading it. Why? It made sense, it's funny and it rhymes! There ain't nowt wrong with that in my book. (Needless to say "Word didn't like this last sentence.)

Just in case you are unaware, you can stop it correcting as you type, which means it will only correct when you do a "Spelling and Grammar Check. At least you can on my version, "Office 2000

Just go to "Tools- "Options ' "Auto- Correct ' Then select the options you want.
