quite ugly one morning
Love the darkly satirical detective novel by Christopher Brookmyre - usually quite enjoy romantic comedies starring James Nesbitt.
Not so sure about ITVs attempt to connect the two - while changing the nationality of two main characters and the sexuality of one and completely re-writing and gutting the plot.
Anyone else see it/read it?
How funny. Am just reading it now and was about to post. It's laugh out loud funny, sickeningly graphic and I was unable to read for ten minutes after "This jobbie is queens evidence laddie".
Daisy bought it for me yesterday, bless him, and I said "you know this is televised tonight" he said "yes and I know you loathe James Nesbitt and televised bugger ups of good novels so I bought you the book instead" - I love that man.
I did watch the film and thought it was fairly lame seeing as the original material is so blindingly good.
