Search "jellteaser" for an orginial voice

OK, I admit that jellteaser is someone I know, but I do think that the genuine E-mail extracts that I encouraged him to post are some of the liveliest material on the site.

You may guess from reading them that he is a young American based in Paris. He guides tourists around Europe in the summer months.

His social observation is acute and extremely funny - read his piece on the wedding he attended.

Cheers

Eric

http://www.abctales.com/abcplex/viewStory.cgi?s=8899 This is jellteaser's no-holds-barred piece about a wedding he attended. There's some strong language and an 18 age limit.

Hello! I looked at your message, Eric, and I decided "Hey! Why not read that story? I have nothing better to do!" so I did and here's my comment: It's very mean-spirited, but mean-spirited in a funny way with very nice voice! I don't really think that the language really enhanced the story at all, but jellteaser didn't abuse it. It was a very nice story! I'm rather surprised that it didn't get cherried. To show how much I care for Jellteaser's story, I think it deserves some type of honor. Therefore, since I'm an arrogant American and I can do whatever I want, I hereby award "Marriage Snapshots" by Jellteaser the Special Honorary Hedgeapple Award! Congratulations! I never thought I would laugh like that about a coldcut centerpiece. Keep up the good work, Jellteaser! Sorry that award doesn't mean anything!

OK, so I read 'Marriage Snapshots' and gave it a cherry. It's good, no doubt about it and I'm sorry it slipped through the cherry net! But Jellteaser, you should look at a website put up some some of your fellow- countrypersons dedicated to hats made out of meat. I believe it's called hatsofmeat.com. Totally weird - they make the plastic doll decked in ham a minor oasis of sanity. cheers, Tony, The Chief Exec. P.S. Don't all come on now saying read this, it deserves a cherry - I shall ignore all such missives for a while!

Tony - has anyone ever had an attack of conscience and declined a cherry ? I think this is highly unlikely, but am interested in whether anyone has had one they didn't think was deserved... I accepted, but was perplexed by my story about the devil and the record store, because it didn't have a proper ending.

I have to say I thought 'Wherever You Lay Your Hat' (mine own, in case you're wondering) didn't deserve a cherry at all. Dreadful story. I'm afraid I wasn't so noble as to decline it, though...
