How did you come by your nom de plume?

I am a novice (about 2weeks or so) @ ABC, so forgive me if this topic has been covered b4. Ditto if it's excruciatingly tedious, but I don't get out much.
In my case, it's embarassingly straightforward: our family names.
P = Piers (son) and Paige (daughter, dec'd)
A = Anne (me)
E = Elliot (son)
G = Gavin (son)
O = Oliver (son)
N = Nick (my other half)
Told you it was naff. I'm sure far more thought went into Ivoryfishbone etc etc. The mind boggles. Indulge me, please? Excuse me, I just have to go and strangle a couple of sons, plus visiting brat. Later.....
