FACING DEATH

Please reach out and touch my hand.
I am feeling rather frail.
Though my heart is still beating,
It no longer beats so well.
I guess life's behind me now.
Well, this happens to us all.
Death may seem daunting, I know,
Yet life is so beautiful.
Sometimes you can cry so hard,
When things seem unbearable.
But isn't that life's beauty;
How it makes you feel with soul?
So please do not pity me;
This old thing I seem to be.
Though this heart is weakening,
It didn't half love living.
