Riding on the rock and roll bus
that shakes and rolls and rattles us;
pastoral symphonies flash past.
Driver, why must we go so fast?

Too fast to see the countryside;
slow rolling hills and fields of green.
It’s not a roller coaster ride.
Slow down. Let me enjoy the scene.

Enjoy this precious summer day;
golden fields filled with rolled-up hay
and open, endless, clear blue sky
through which vast clouds go strolling by.
